Why Leaders
Safety is our top priority. Because we build athletes, our instructors follow the guidelines of the U.S. Center for SafeSport, creating a safe and respectful environment not only for athletes, but for all of our students.
We don’t just teach Taekwondo, we teach life skills. Through our structured curriculum, students learn respect, discipline, and responsibility, which we continue to develop and track beyond the school.
Our Taekwondo programs are designed for students of all ages, starting as young as 4 years old. Across every program, our goal is to shape confident leaders who make a positive impact at home, in school, and beyond.
Our certified instructors combine experience and passion to help every student grow in strength, focus, and character, becoming true leaders through Taekwondo.
We are one of the most accomplished schools in and around the Kansas City area. Our team has competed in national and international, taking home awards and taking on the best.
With decades of experience and a strong foundation in authentic Taekwondo, we’re dedicated to helping every student reach their full potential. Since 1993, our school has honored the roots of Korean martial arts while continuing to grow and inspire students here in the United States.
Each year, Leaders Taekwondo hosts national-level masters and coaches from Korea through our internship program, giving students a chance to train with elite instructors. We are dedicated to providing the best programs and opportunities for our students to learn and grow.

Future Leaders (ages 4-6)
A fun and engaging Taekwondo program that helps young children build focus, discipline, and confidence.
Leaders (ages 7-12)
Our core program designed to strengthen skills, character, and leadership through authentic Taekwondo training.
Teen and Adults (ages 13+)
Train in a motivating environment that builds strength, confidence, and self-defense skills.
Team Programs
Our Team Programs give dedicated students the chance to take their skills to the next level.
